Monday, June 16th 10-12 Writing Workshop 12-2 pm Writing time and Lunch in Alberobello 2 pm Visit to the baroque city of Lecce. Tour Castle, Roman theatre, and walk through historic town. Writing time. Dinner in Lecce. Tuesday, June 17th 10 am Full day trip to Matera. Guided tour and walk through historic town. Lunch 4 pm Castello di Monti (Frederick II). Guided tour of Castle. 5:30 pm Wine tasting and light supper at local Puglian winery Wednesday, June 18th 10-12 Writing Workshop 1 pm Lunch near coastal town of Monopoli. 2:30 pm Egnazia. Magna Graecia ruins and museum 3:30 pm Caves of Castellano Late afternoon writing time and individual consultations Dinner and Music Event in local town Thursday, June 19th 10 am Full day trip to Prehistoric Grottas. Visit to Santa Cesaria Terme (wellness capital of Puglia). Afternoon writing time. Optional: mudbaths in neolithic caves. Light supper in Otranto. Friday, June 20th 10-12 Writing Workshop 1 pm Boat excursion with guide in Taranto. Mussel farming. Light supper in Taranto Saturday, June 21st 10 am Castello Svevo (Frederick II)in Oria. 1:30 pm lunch at Medievale Ristorante, Alla Corte di Hyria 7-9 pm Writing Workshop Evening free. Sunday, June 22nd 10 am -1 pm Individual Consultations Midday open to explore or write. 6 pm Tour and dinner in Martina Franca (the white city - culinary capital of Puglia). Monday, June 23rd 10 am -1 pm Private Consultations Afternoon open 8:30 pm Farewell dinner in Locorotondo with traditional Taranta music and dancing. Tuesday, June 24th 10-12 Writing Workshop.
