Double accommodations at the Limira Mare Hotel located on the waterfront in Neapolis.
(Single occupancy available at extra cost.)
Swimming is in the Bay across the street from the hotel.
Excellent buffet breakfasts every morning in the hotel garden.

Lunches on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Dinners on Sunday, Monday and Saturday.

Sunday  – Morning taxi/shuttle pick up in Athens for five-hour scenic drive to Neapolis, the southern tip of the Peloponnese. Early afternoon arrival and check-in at Limira Mare Hotel, located on the waterfront, www.limiramare.gr. Free time for relaxation, swimming or walk along beachfront. Early evening workshop overview and introduction to journal writing. Welcome dinner at Oasis Restaurant, easy walking distance from the Limira Mare Hotel.

Monday – 9 a.m. Walking tour of the old town of Neapolis, to Connie's house for sketching class on her patio. Lunch on your own on waterfront. Afternoon swim. Evening wine-tasting of local Greek varietals. Dinner at Mone Mone mezzodopolio (restaurant that specializes in mezze -- small plates like Spanish tapas).

Tuesday – 9 a.m. Take boat trip to Elafonisos (on Bobby's traditional wooden caique), sketch small fishing boats in harbor. Bobby will take us from the harbor to the white sand beach at Simos for swimming. We will eat lunch at the nearby taverna. Boat trip back to Neapolis late afternoon. Evening free, dinner on your own.

Wednesday – 8:30 a.m. We will visit the spectacular Kastania Cave in the morning. Journaling and sketching class the Orthodox Chapel in Paradisi,  overlooking Neapolis and the Bay, Elafonisos Island and Kithyra Island. Lunch at the taverna in Kalania. Evening free. Dinner on your own.

Thursday – 9 a.m. Shop at local outdoor market with Greek hostess Virginia. 11:30 a.m. Light snack and sketching at Virginia's house in Mesochori, a small village on the mountainside above Neapolis. 1:00 p.m. After sketching class, we will have a cooking class with Virginia preparing Greek dishes. Then we will eat our lunch at her house overlooking the Bay of Neapolis. Back to Neapolis late afternoon. Evening free, dinner on your own.

Friday –  9 a.m. Day trip to ancient fortress town of Monemvasia (40-minute drive from Neapolis). Sketching class in the old city. Lunch on your own. Return to Neapolis late afternoon. Free time before dinner. Dinner at Mistral Restaurant on the Neapolis boardwalk, walking distance from hotel.

Saturday – 9 a.m. Journaling and sketching class at the ruins of the Old Castle near Aghia Paraskevi. Walk or ride to  Barbara's nearby olive farm with panoramic view of Old Castle and Bay of Neapolis, Elafonisos Island and Kithyra Island. Light lunch at Barbara’s farm. Farewell dinner at the Neraida Taverna in neighboring village of Aghios Nikolaos, with live Greek folk music and dancing.

Sunday – Breakfast at Limira Mare. Display and discussion of everyone's art journals. Taxi/shuttle departure for Athens.
